On playing close games
"We've had I think 15 or 16 come down to the end and the last four minutes of the game. We're playing meaningful basketball here in February and its emotional, each game has been so emotional for our players."
On the upcoming week
"Its good to have this week off to take a deep breath; take a step back and regroup a little bit. We'll work Monday and Tuesday, probably take Wednesday off and then have our regular prep-time for Marshall. The kids have worked hard and for young kids to have these types of games is physically and mentally exhausting."
On playing and winning close games
"I don't really care how we win, but sometimes it would be nice to win one where it doesn't feel like your getting a root canal. "

On when the game changed
"The momentum changed on turnovers. We had two assists and 12 turnovers in the second half and six at half. We talked about taking care of the ball. We knew they would come out and be a little more aggressive, a lot of those were unforced turnovers, where we just made poor decisions in our passing and in our ability to make the right decisions.
"Give them credit. They made plays, made big shots down the stretch, that's what they've continued to do, but we just really struggle right now. We've got one guy right now who can score for us and a bunch of guys who play their roles on our team. We miss A.J. Rompza and David Diakite, we miss our rotation a little bit right now. We're asking guys to do more things than they're used to doing. It's hard to change midstream here when you've been playing with different guys."
On this road trip
"We haven't played in five or six days. We've been hanging out in a hotel for five days. You always worry about your focus, but I thought our guys came out with a good mentality and I thought we played hard. It wasn't about our effort, it was about our ability to get stops down the stretch. Like all of our loses we've been in games, we just haven't been able to make plays when it matters."
On ECU this season
"Jeff's doing a great job here with these guys, they've gotten better and they play with a lot of confidence. They're playing well together."
