Maurice Kemp posted his third straight 20-point game and fifth of the season. He is the first player since Fred Primus during the 2000-01 season to score 20 points in three consecutive games. He has scored 20 points seven times during his ECU career (Pirates are 7-0 in those games).
Miguel Paul dished out a season-high eight assists to move into 10th place on the school's career chart with 226 helpers.
Corvonn Gaines handed out his 220th career assist to move into a tie for 11th on the school's all-time list.
Robert Sampson scored double figures for the second straight game and sixth time this season. It was the second consecutive game in which he grabbed nine rebounds, just missing a double-double. He has three double-doubles this season.
Shamarr Bowden and Akeem Richmond each extended his consecutive games streak with a 3-pointer made to five. Paris Roberts-Campbell had his streak ended at six games.
