MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
- East Carolina improved to 8-3 overall, including a 7-0 record at home.
- The Pirates have won eight straight home games dating back to last season and 11 straight home games against non-conference opponents.
- East Carolina improved 10-4 all-time against teams from the MEAC, including 1-0 against Norfolk State.
- The victory was the 996th in school history, putting the program just four wins shy of 1,000.
- East Carolina is 20-3 at home in non-conference games under coach Jeff Lebo.
- East Carolina lead wire-to-wire for the second time this season and didn't trail in the game for the third time.

- East Carolina improved to 28-7 under Lebo when scoring at least 70 points and 34-9 when holding its opponent to 69 points or fewer.
- East Carolina posted its second win of the season when be out-rebounded. The Pirates also defeated UNC Greensboro despite losing the battle of the boards (ECU is 2-2 when being out-rebounded this year).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Maurice Kemp posted his third straight 20-point game and fifth of the season. He is the first player since Fred Primus during the 2000-01 season to score 20 points in three consecutive games. He has scored 20 points seven times during his ECU career (Pirates are 7-0 in those games).
- Miguel Paul dished out a season-high eight assists to move into 10th place on the school's career chart with 226 helpers.
- Corvonn Gaines handed out his 220th career assist to move into a tie for 11th on the school's all-time list.
- Robert Sampson scored double figures for the second straight game and sixth time this season. It was the second consecutive game in which he grabbed nine rebounds, just missing a double-double. He has three double-doubles this season.
- Shamarr Bowden and Akeem Richmond each extended his consecutive games streak with a 3-pointer made to five. Paris Roberts-Campbell had his streak ended at six games.
