Head Coach Jeff Lebo
         Opening statement
"It was a good win, I thought defensively we were pretty alert for most of the game, holding them to 26 percent. We knew they would come in and be able to shoot the ball in five spots, and that's pretty hard to defend. I didn't go to the small lineup until the second half because I wanted to see the big guys try to defend it a little bit. But I thought our best lineup in this game was when we went little. We had nice balance again tonight. We missed a lot of easy shots, and when we showed up against Greensboro we missed a lot of easy ones. We've got to learn to be able to finish on balance with some contact. That's something we need to do because it will be harder to finish in our next couple of games."
On the team's assists
"We've taken good care of the ball, and handled it pretty good. The point guards tonight had 10 assists and only one turnover. We'll take that any night. We shared and passed the ball pretty well, and got good looks. I told them in this game to not take the first halfway decent shot that you have, but to make the extra pass. We did that for the most part. It was good to see the guys shoot the ball pretty well. Greg Alexander is young, but he got to the foul line, made three, got some confidence, and made three perimeter shots."
On the points from the bench
"We have Akeem [Richmond] that can score from the perimeter, but we need the other guys to step up and be able to score it from different areas. The toughest teams, for me, to prepare for are the ones that have balance. Hopefully we'll continue to have that throughout the year."
Senior guard Petar Torlak
         On his performance
"It felt great, but it wasn't about me. It was about the team. We shared the ball well, so I was lucky to get the shots up. I've been working hard for years, and I'm just trying to get the best out of it every minute I'm on the court."
On winning and the upcoming NIT Tip-Off Tournament
"It feels good, but we aren't going to look back. We're looking forward, and trying to do the best we can at the pre-season NIT tournament. We're all excited. I don't think we feel any pressure. We're just going to play our game and hopefully win some games."
Freshman guard Greg Alexander
         On his performance
"It felt great. I've been looking to get some playing time, and I just want to produce with the minutes that I get."
On this year's freshman class
"I think it speaks volumes of the recruiting and coaching. It's really a great group of guys, and you should expect great things from us. My teammates have been doing a great job winning games, and it just feels good to be a part of it."
