Catch ECU Women's Hoops on WZMB Radio This Season

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina Athletics and WZMB 91.3 FM, the university's student radio station, agreed to a partnership granting the outlet exclusive rights to serve as the home of ECU Women's Basketball on the airwaves for the 2014-15 season.
Live game broadcasts for all regular season games will be available in the Greenville area on the radio on 91.3 FM or online by visiting the WZMB websiteand clicking on the live stream link.
WZMB will broadcast all home and away games, including both games at the 2014 Junkanoo Jam in Freeport, Bahamas (Nov. 27-28) and each contest in which the Pirates compete at the 2015 American Athletic Conference Tournament (March 6-9) in Uncasville, Conn.
As part of the agreement, head coach Heather Macy will make 12 weekly appearances on the show beginning in January 2015, in addition to various players serving as featured guests.
ECU's student radio station began conversations with East Carolina Athletics during the Fall 2013 semester. WZMB, part of ECU Student Media, worked with SA Technology Services and Athletics to obtain the necessary equipment and implement a plan for broadcasting games court side.
With Josh Graham and Johnny Martinez on the call, WZMB broadcasted its first Pirate women's hoops game on Feb 26, 2014 in ECU's Conference USA game against Middle Tennessee, who was ranked No. 23 in the nation at the time. Josh and Johnny also accompanied East Carolina on the road for the 2014 C-USA tournament in El Paso, Texas.
