Post-Practice Interviews
Pirate Nation, welcome back to the All Hands On Deck blog from Birmingham, Ala., home of the 2014 Birmingham Bowl.
The Pirates returned to the practice field for the first time since Sunday afternoon holding its initial workout in Birmingham at Hover High School. Following a 9 a.m. morning lift, ECU boarded the buses and traveled five miles to the Bucks field, home of nine-time 7A State Champions since 2000.
ECU conducted a near two-hour practice followed by post-practice interviews with head coach Ruffin McNeill, offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley and selected offensive players. The team headed back to the hotel for down time with family and friends and closed the night visiting the team gift suites.
Wednesday is a packed day for the Pirates as the bowl festivities get underway. After an early morning weight lifting session, the Pirates head to practice before visiting the Birmingham Civil Rights Museum and then going to the Bowling and BBQ Team Challenge with the Florida Gators.
