Setting The Scene
? After playing three consecutive home games, East Carolina will play its next two games on the road beginning Saturday at USF. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3.
? The Pirates opened their American Athletic Conference schedule on Wednesday with a 67-59 loss to Tulane. Paris Roberts-Campbell led the Pirates with 14 points off the bench, while Terry Whisnant added 12 and Caleb White 11.
? USF also opened conference play on Wednesday, suffering an 83-49 setback at SMU. The Bulls enter the game on a two-game skid.
? The Pirates are looking to end an eight-game "true" road game losing streak dating back to last season. The Pirates are 0-3 on the road this season, while USF owns a 5-3 record at home.

? Sophomore Caleb White is shooting nearly 50 percent behind the arc the past three games, 9-for-20 (.450). White made 3 of 6 against Tulane in the Pirates' conference opener. White has the longest active double figures scoring on the team at three games.
? Senior Paris Roberts-Campbell moved into a tie for ninth place on the school's all-time 3-point field goals made list Wednesday by burying four 3s to bring his career total to 142.
? ECU ranks among the top 30 in NCAA Division I in free throws attempted (26, 329) and made (27, 226) thru games of Dec. 31.
? East Carolina has made six or more 3-point field goals in five consecutive games, including 10 last time out against Tulane.

Series History
? East Carolina and USF are meeting as conference foes for the sixth time Saturday. The Pirates won three of the five head-to-head battles in Conference USA play from 2003-05.
? The Pirates won the first three games in the series, but have lost the last four. Their last win over USF was Feb. 28, 2004 in Greenville.
? East Carolina earned its first-ever Conference USA road win at USF on Feb. 3, 2004.
The Road Ahead
? Following Saturday's game at USF, East Carolina will head north to face Cincinnati on Tuesday, Jan. 6. The game will be televised on ESPNU at 7 p.m.
