Pirates To Host Annual Potluck Sunday, Nov. 1

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina Women's Basketball team will hold its annual potluck dinner Sunday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m., in the multi-purpose room inside the Murphy Center on the campus of East Carolina University. Head coach Heather Macy, her staff and student-athletes would like to invite all fans, friends, and family members to join them for the gathering.
Prior to the potluck, the Pirates will hold an open practice across the way at Minges Coliseum from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Those attending the potluck are encouraged to watch the open practice as well. If you are planning to attend and would like to bring a covered dish, please RSVP to Dee Pennix, Director of Basketball Operations, by October 27. ECU women's basketball will open the 2015-16 campaign at the Islanders Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas Nov. 13-14. The Pirates will take on the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley in the opener before challenging host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. East Carolina will face Alcorn State in its home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum.
