Tickets to the 2015 American Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships are now available for purchase through the East Carolina Athletic Ticket Office.
All ticket orders placed through the ECU Athletics Ticket Office must be made Feb. 20. Ticket for both the men's and women's championships are sold as booklets. No single session tickets are available. Tickets are available by calling 1.800.DIAL-ECU or stopping by the ECU Ticket Office located behind Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
Ticket packages for the men's championships include lower-level and upper-level seating, cover all 10 games of the championship, and are priced as low as $199.
The men's championship will be played March 12-15 at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, March 12-15. All 11 American Athletic Conference teams will compete for the league title, including 2014 NCAA champion UConn, which is one of the six conference teams that have reached the NCAA Final Four. The 11 teams that comprise the American Athletic Conference have a combined six NCAA titles, made 22 Final Four appearances, 67 Sweet Sixteen appearances and 173 NCAA tournament appearances.
The Pirate Club has a very limited number of rooms held at the Hartford/Windsor Marriott in Windsor, Conn., for ECU fans who are interested in reserving a hotel room. Rooms are $139 plus tax and can be reserved by calling Shannon Padrick in the Pirate Club at 252-737-4544.
The women's championship will be played in Uncasville, Conn. at Mohegan Sun Arena, March 6-9, 2015. Package tickets to all 10 games will be priced at $99 each, discounted by nearly one third of the face value.
All 11 American teams will battle for the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. The 2015 American Women's Basketball Championship will showcase the 2014 defending national champion UConn, WNIT Final Four participant USF, and three WNIT competitors in East Carolina, SMU and Tulane. UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis, Temple and Tulsa will also contend for the title.
