How Did You Get Started In Volleyball?
I got started playing volleyball in the fifth grade when I was about 10 years old. I had played every other sport that year and decided to give it a shot. I had never played before and the night before tryouts I was so nervous that I was practicing my underhand serve in the backyard with my mom until dark. I ended up making the team and loving the sport. I started playing club at age 14 and never looked back.
What Are Some Of Your Routines On Game Day or During Matches?
Hanging out with my team in the locker room and listening to my music.
What Is Your Favorite Volleyball Memory Thus Far?
My favorite volleyball memory thus far was beating Memphis in five games on their senior night last year. I'll always remember that.
What Is One Piece of Advice You Would Give To Young Girls Who Want To Play?
Some advice I would give to young girls is never give up and to enjoy every opportunity volleyball provides you with. You are much stronger than you think you are, stick with it even when the going gets tough. Volleyball has allowed me to make the best of friends that I will have forever. It has also allowed me to travel all over the United State, something I wouldn't be able to do if it weren't for volleyball.
