
ECU Women's Basketball Adds Trio of ESPN3 Broadcasts

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina women's basketball team will have three games broadcast nationally on ESPN3 during the 2015-16 season, according to an announcement by the American Athletic Conference on Thursday.
The announcement comes shortly after The American assigning five East Carolina games to the American Digital Network's coverage this season. The Pirates' combined broadcast total now sits at 13 regular-season contests during the 2015-16 campaign across ESPNU, ESPN3, CBS Sports Network and The American Digital Network.
In addition to ECU's first league game at Tulsa Wednesday, Dec. 30, the Saturday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Feb. 13 home contests against Temple and Memphis, respectively, will also be carried live by ESPN3.
The Dec. 30 broadcast against the Golden Hurricane begins at 8 p.m. (ET), while the Jan. 30 matchup with the Owls will begin at 2:30 p.m., as part of a doubleheader with the men's basketball team's 12 noon tip-off. The Feb. 13 game against the Tigers is set for 5 p.m., at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum. Additionally, the Pirates' Feb. 6 game at 1 p.m., at UConn will be available on ESPN3.
