Opening statement
"Just a terrific win for our kids and for our program. I don't even think the guys, our players, understand what a big win that actually was. This temple team -- sixth winningest program in history. A team that won 26 games last year. A team that's traditionally just a fine basketball team, fighting for an NCAA birth. I've got a lot of respect for their coach and their program. They're a team that beat SMU, Cincinnati twice, [won] at Connecticut.
"With all the adversity we've faced this year, to win that game with these guys is a really special moment, special in that locker room. If you had told me that we would win with the game shooting 3 of 17 from the 3 against them, I would've told you, `you're crazy.' You look back at some of our great wins that we've had here, double-figure three's typically, but not tonight. We found a way to win the game. Kentrell Barkley, just a terrific play. He's played great -- 40 minutes in this game. Our fast break was the difference, 22 to zero in fast break points. Can't get much better than that."
On productivity in the paint and from the line
"We didn't foul and we didn't turn it over. Typically, they're a team that plays positional defense. They've got experienced guys, and you always worry, late in the game I was worried -- played more man late. Their three guards, just make plays, and [Quenton] Decosey made a big shot, he's made them his whole career. Josh Brown, late game situations, I worry about him one-on-one; he makes a big one from the foul line. [Devin] Coleman has been a guy that has been on fire for them; 23 points against SMU, so they've got a really strong backcourt. We played more man late in the game, because I thought Obi [Enechionyia] was really good inside, finding an open area, and shooting the basketball. We found a way to get some stops there late. We made some big plays, really big plays coming down the stretch, two games in a row. That was nice to see."
On ranking this win among his career wins
"It ranks up there, there's no doubt about it. Against an upper echelon team, again in the league at home. It's fun to have a chance when these teams come here. I don't think, having been in another league, we would have had an opportunity to play. It's hard, each and every night, there's not doubt about it, but you can't beat them if you don't play them. We found a way tonight, and it was just a terrific team win."
On grit behind the doors in practice
"They got some confidence, I think from the last game. We're just trying to get better everyday, and that's all I can ask them. They've stayed together, they've worked hard, sometimes when things happen, you find something you never knew you had. We lost a guy, we found another who's down there that's been pretty good. But I know we need our full allotment of guys here if we're going to be the best we can be coming down the stretch."

"We had a great win against SMU, but it meant nothing when we came here. I think ECU is figuring it out. . . . I didn't think we handled their dribble penetration very well. We gave up way too many drives to the rim."

"It definitely got some momentum going and we have confidence. We stay together knowing we can win and can make some plays late. We stay in the games most of time but we come up short. That is what has been happening this season, but we are making a turn now."
On the whole ECU lineup's ability to score
"That is what makes us dangerous. KB (Kentrell Barkley), B.J. (Tyson), Caleb White, Michael Zangari can knock down some 3s and myself. We just need to have that balanced attack and stay confident on the offensive end."
