GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina Head Women's Golf Coach Kevin Williams announced that Kathryn Carson has signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf for the Pirates during the 2017-18 season.
"I'm extremely excited to have Kathryn join our program next year," Williams said. "She is a tremendous athlete and golfer. Kathryn has played a vital role on the Lake Norman basketball team the last three years and her athleticism shows when she is on the golf course competing. She had a great summer winning a big event on the PKB Tour and played in the final group of the final round a few times this summer, which was a tremendous help to the growth of her game. Kathryn will make a wonderful addition to an extremely competitive team and we are excited about how much better we will be with her on the team."
