Opening statement
"Give South Florida credit I thought they played terrific. We did not play very well offensively maybe one of the worst offensive games we had all year. We've been playing really well offensively, but couldn't make a shot tonight. I can't tell you how many times late in the clock they made shots. They must've got late clock buckets by McMurry and Morillo multiple times, probably double figure times and we couldn't make a shot even when they weren't trying to guard us. It was frustrating night for us but give South Florida credit for that."
On regaining confidence after loss
"We've really been playing a lot better, but we just didn't have it tonight. We couldn't get in any kind of flow. It's hard to explain the game, but we've really been playing a lot better offensively, but tonight it was not there"

"I wasn't sure if we were going to beat them inside, but I knew we had a size advantage. At the same time, with having such size you have to worry about how fast they are, how you are going defend them and how you are going to move. Today we were fortunate that we were able to use our size to our advantage."
On defending Prince Williams and B.J. Tyson
"I just thought our defense was really good at getting out to them quickly. They are two talented players and because we were able not to turn the ball over, they were not allowed to get into transition. When in transition they put a lot of pressure on your defense when changing ends, getting steals, rebounds and getting ahead to push. Since we executed and took care of the ball, we were able to take away from what they do well."
