Pirates Set To Entertain Tulane

GREENVILLE, N.C. --- East Carolina will look to return to its winning ways Wednesday night at it welcomes Tulane to Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum for an American Athletic Conference matchup.
The game is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPNEWS.
Both teams enter the game looking to get back into the win column. After beating Memphis and Temple in back-to-back games, East Carolina has lost consecutive games to Houston and UConn. Tulane hasn't won a game in nearly a month and hopes to win its third straight over the Pirates to break its six-game slide.
ECU senior point guard Prince Williams poured in a season-high 21 points Sunday at UConn, making a career-best four 3-pointers. He has scored double figures in five straight games, the longest such streak of his career. Williams has raised his scoring average by more than two points per game (ppg) during the streak.
Sophomore B.J. Tyson has the longest active double-figure scoring streak on the team at seven games. He leads the Pirates with 15.0 ppg, which ranks him seventh in The American. He has scored 20 or more points twice in the last four games and leads East Carolina with seven 20-point performances this season.
The Pirates average 70.1 ppg, while Tulane is allowing 68.4 ppg. Conversely. ECU is surrendering an average of 71.8 ppg with the Green Wave netting just 64.1.
TU senior Louis Dabney ranks 12th in the conference in scoring with 13.3 ppg and junior Malik Morgan is 24th with 11.3 ppg. Sophomore Dylan Osetkowski is fifth in the league with 8.6 rebounds per game.
Tulane leads the all-time series 12-7 and has won the last two games in the series, both of which were played in Greenville.
