
Aja and Williams to Participate in Barnstorming Tour

GREENVILLE, N.C. --- East Carolina seniors Kanu Aja and Prince Williams will participate in the 2016 ACC Barnstorming Tour, sponsored and coordinated by The Sumner Group.
The duo will make their first tour appearance Thursday, April 7, as the tour makes a stop a Tarboro High School in Tarboro, N.C. They are also expected to participate in the April 13 game at Kinston High School.
Williams concluded his career by averaging 10.3 points and 3.8 assists per game and was voted the American Athletic Conference's Most Improved Player, while setting career-highs for points, assists, 3-point field goals and steals. Aja wrapped up his two-year stint at ECU with career-best marks in points, rebounds and blocks.
The tour will make a total of nine stops throughout the state of North Carolina and one in Iowa. The tour is comprised mostly of basketball players in their senior season of college.
Doors open each night at 6:00 pm and the game starts at 7:30 pm. In addition to the basketball games, each game will also consist of a three-point shootout contest and a dunk contest.
Players will be available following the game for a limited autograph session with general admission ticketholders. VIP ticketholders will enjoy reserved front row seating to the game, a postgame reception with the all-stars and a photo/autograph session.
A portion of the proceeds from each game will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Additional proceeds will also benefit each hosting high school.
