GREENVILLE, N.C. – All fans attending the East Carolina-NC State game this Saturday, Sept. 10 are encouraged to take part in "Stripe Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium."
Fans are asked to wear either purple or gold depending on which section their seats are located. The game is expected to be sold out.
Additionally, each of the games in October will feature a different color scheme starting with UCF (Oct. 1), which will be our annual "Paint it Purple" game. On Oct. 13, fans are asked to "Paint it Black" versus Navy, followed by our "Paint it Gold" game on Oct. 29 when ECU plays host to UConn for Homecoming. Fans are asked to wear their favorite Pirate gear, regardless of color, for the 2016 home finale against SMU on Nov. 12.
