Women's Tennis Cruises Past UNC Greensboro, 6-1

Greensboro, N.C. --- The ECU Women's tennis team won its third-straight match on Friday afternoon, defeating UNC Greensboro 6-1 on the road.

ECU's duo of Hsia Ho Chiao and Nastja Rettich got the team off to a quick start, knocking off the Spartans No. 3 doubles team 6-3. The Pirates would secure two of three doubles matches that completed.
The Pirates then took five of the six singles matches. No. 52 Celia Ruiz made quick work in her singles match, defeating Alice Taylor 6-0, 6-1. ECU would then win five consecutive matches in singles play to secure the team's second road win in a row.
