TAMPA, Fla.  – A school-record effort by senior Stefano Migliorati in the 800m Friday earned the two-time American Athletic Conference champion a spot in the NCAA Outdoor Championships field as the NCAA East Preliminary continued at the USF Track and Field Stadium.
Â
Migliorati snagged 10th place with a time of 1:48.28 that broke his previous program-best mark by almost half of a second. He earns his first trip to nationals and will join teammate and classmate Galissia Cause who qualified in the shot put Thursday.
