Mike Houston: All Pirate Fans Invited To NSD Celebration

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- ECU Head Football Coach Mike Houston will host a meet and greet with the general public to officially introduce his first signing class to Pirate fans on Wednesday, Feb. 6 during a "2019 Signing Day Celebration" event beginning at 5 p.m. inside the Williams-Clark Club Level at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
There is no admission charge to attend the celebration, which will feature Houston, defensive coordinator Bob Trott and offensive coordinator Donnie Kirkpatrick as the primary speakers. ECU Director of Athletics Jon Gilbert will serve as the emcee to open the event before introducing Houston to begin the festivities.
Houston will announce the newest additions to the Pirates' roster and provide updates on signees who inked with ECU during the early period in December. He will also discuss recent developments within the program and provide a brief spring practice preview before engaging in a Q&A session with fans to close out the celebration.
In order to estimate an approximate headcount, fans planning to attend the event are encouraged to register online.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with light snacks and a cash bar available.
