The Oslo, Norway native led the entire field in total birdies (14) and par-4 scoring (-3), while sharing second in par-5 scoring (-4) and seventh in par-3 scoring (even). Forbrigd tied her career-low round of 67 on day one of the event and followed that with a 73 and 69. Her final tally of 209 is tied for the fifth-lowest score in program history.

The Pirates (40-39), who posted their third Top 5 finish of the season, carded rounds of 297, 291 and 294 for a three-day total of 882 (18-over) and picked up wins over six Top 50 programs including No. 21 TCU and No. 29 Purdue. Eleventh-ranked Kent State (866) finished four shots ahead of No. 7 Arkansas (870), while Virginia Tech (878), No. 13 Northwestern (879) and ECU rounded out the Top 5.
Â
"I'm extremely proud of the way Dorthea played this week finishing tied for first and sharing the tournament title with Karoline Stormo from Kent State," ECU Head Coach Kevin Williams said. "I'm equally as proud of the team with their fight and competitiveness this week. I saw a lot of good things just like I did during our first tournament of the fall. We were able to pick up wins over six Top 50 teams, including a pair of Top 30's. So far it has been a good start to the spring season for the Pirates."
