American Announces December Broadcast Schedule

GREENVILLE, N.C. --- The American Athletic Conference announced the broadcast schedule and game times for all league contests in the month of December on Thursday.

East Carolina opens conference play on Wednesday, Dec. 16, on the road against SMU at 8 p.m. ET.

The Pirates will host Tulane in their conference home opener on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 3:30 p.m. inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum before breaking for Christmas. ECU will wrap up the 2020 portion of its schedule at Wichita State on Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. ET.

Each of the Pirates' first three conference games will be streamed on ESPN+.

Non-conference games against UNCW (Dec.7) and North Florida (Dec. 10), originally scheduled for 6 p.m., have been moved to 5 o'clock. Those games will be streamed on ESPN+ as well.

In Spring 2019, the American Athletic Conference and ESPN agreed to a 12-year media rights extension beginning in 2020-21. Under the agreement of the extension, hundreds of additional American Athletic Conference sports events annually will be distributed on the ESPN+ digital platform. In men's basketball, every regular season that is not distributed on ESPN's traditional television networks will be available exclusively on ESPN+.
