Pirate fans can enjoy one of the most memorable games in East Carolina Football history beginning this Saturday, March 28 from the comfort and safety of their homes.

Classic Rewind, presented by ECU Physicians, will feature a full television broadcast of a selected contest out of our Pirate archives in partnership with flagship station WNCT 9 On Your Side.

To kick things off, everyone can relive the excitement of Sept. 8, 2007 when the Pirates welcomed rival North Carolina to a sold-out Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium for their home opener. Plenty of intriguing matchups highlighted this particular tilt, which also ended on one of the most productive "pep talks" in the annals of special teams psychology.           Â

Join WNCT-TV Sports Director Brian Bailey at 1 p.m. for a pregame introduction and again for a halftime stats report before a postgame wrap-up segment that will include comments from current ECU Head Football Coach Mike Houston.
