ORLANDO, Fla. – The East Carolina men's basketball team wraps up its regular season on Sunday afternoon when the Pirates face UCF inside Addition Financial Arena.

Tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game will be on ESPN+ with Austin Lyon and BJ Taylor on the call.

Last Time Out
RJ Felton scored 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting and Ezra Ausar scored a career-high 22 points but Tulane outlasted East Carolina 81-78 on Friday night inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena. Brandon Johnson recorded his 10th double-double of the season with 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Pirates and Quentin Diboundje added 10 points. The Pirates are seeking to win their seventh league contest which would be the most for the program since joining the AAC in 2014-15.

Scouting the Knights
UCF is coming off a last-second loss on the road to Temple on Thursday night. C.J. Kelly led the Knights with 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting and Taylor Hendricks added 16 points and seven rebounds in the loss. UCF has dropped three of its last four contests. Hendricks leads the Knights in scoring at 15.3 points per game (10th in AAC) and in rebounds per game at 6.7 (10th in AAC). UCF has three other players that average double figures in scoring in Kelly (12.3 ppg), Horton (12.2 ppg) and Darius Johnson (10.2 ppg). The Knights have the AAC's second-best defense, only allowing 65.6 points per game and have held their last two opponents under 70 points.

UCF leads the series with East Carolina 29-9 and have won the last 15 meetings including a 64-61 win in Greenville on Jan. 4. ECU took the first three meetings as AAC foes but the Knights have bested the Pirates since. ECU is 3-14 in Orlando and has dropped its last seven games there with its last win coming on Feb. 28, 2015.
