
Guzman Repeats As AAC Diver Of The Week

IRVING, Texas – For the second-straight week, East Carolina sophomore Frida Zuniga Guzman has been named the American Athletic Conference Diver of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Guzman claimed first place in the 1-meter (299.25) and 3-meter (308.55) dives in a tri-meet against Georgia Tech and Carson-Newman and has extended her streak to four wins over the last two spring events, which included the 1-meter and 3-meter dives at Liberty.
Guzman and her fellow divers will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 2 squaring off against Duke at 3 p.m. (ET). The Pirates, who posted a 10-1 regular season record, will then turn their focus to the 2024 AAC Championships that begin on Thursday, Feb. 22 and are hosted by SMU in Dallas, Texas.
