
Pirates Set To Compete In Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational

Chapel Hill, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team returns to competition this weekend at the par-70, 6,081-yard Finley Golf Club where the Pirates will be one of 17 teams to compete in the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational.
The first round of the three-day tournament, hosted by the University of North Carolina, will tee off on Friday at 8:30 a.m. Second round action on Saturday will start at 8:30 a.m. and the final 18 holes on Sunday will be a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Danielle Modder, Marta Perez, Macie Burcham, Nicole Nash and Lisa Forss will be the Pirates' five for the tournament.Â
The Pirates will compete against North Carolina, Duke, FIU, Michigan, UNCG, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Michigan State, UNCW, Vanderbilt, Western Carolina, Louisville, NC State, Virginia Tech and Rollins College.
