
Pirates Tie For Seventh At Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate

Knoxville, Tenn – The East Carolina women's golf team concluded the fall portion of its 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday afternoon as the Pirates shot 37-over par 889 to tie for seventh at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate.

The three-day tournament was contested at Cherokee Country Club.

Nicole Nash, Marta Perez and Danielle Modder each tied for 26th after shooting nine-over for the tournament while Andrea Miralles (t-37th, +12) and Macie Burcham (t-60th, +21) rounded out the Pirates' five. Zoe Allaux also tied for 60th, shooting 21-over as an individual.
"We didn't have our best this week, but was proud of how we fought," assistant coach Kathryn Carson said.  "Our focus this offseason will be cleaning up some areas of weakness to prepare for a strong spring semester!"Â

Miami (+10, 862) finished five strokes ahead of host Tennessee (+15, 867) and Campbell (+15, 867) to capture team honors as UCF (+17, 869) and Chattanooga (+25, 877) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
