Guzman Named AAC Diver Of The Week

IRVING, Texas – East Carolina redshirt junior Frida Zuniga Guzman has been named the American Athletic Conference Diving Athlete of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Guzman, the reigning Diver of the Meet at the 2024 AAC Championships, took first place in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives in a diving only event Friday, Oct. 18 inside Minges Natatorium against NC State. She posted point totals of 300.68 (1-meter) and 327.53 (3-meter) taking top honors.
This is the third career weekly AAC honor for Guzman following back-to-back accolades on January 23rd and 30th of 2024.
