
ECU Divers Compete At Liberty Tri-Meet

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Sophomore Olivia Templeton won the 1-meter dive posting a score of 253.58 at the Liberty Tri-Meet (diving only) against host Liberty and James Madison Saturday afternoon. She was one of three Pirates to participate in the event along with redshirt junior Friday Zungia Guzman and freshman Kinsley Baker.

Guzman placed fourth overall in the 1-meter with a score of 228.60 but finished second against Liberty. Baker posted a score of 182.40 to finish 12th in the event. Guzman was ECU's top diver in the 3-meter with a score of 256.32 finishing second overall. Baker finished seventh overall (fourth against JMU; fifth against Liberty) posting a score of 236.93, while Templeton was eighth overall (fifth vs. JMU; sixth vs. Liberty).

ECU returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 2 when it travels to Richmond for a tri-meet event against Richmond and Pennsylvania. The swimming portion will be held at RVA, while diving will compete at the University of Richmond.
