
ECU Collects 7-0 Road Victory Over Queens

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – East Carolina won it's second-straight match Sunday afternoon, blanking Queens University 7-0 at the Howard Levine Tennis Center.

With the Royals forfeiting on court three during doubles play, Ines Bachir and Alisha Hussain picked up a quick 6-0 victory on court one to clinch the point and put ECU ahead 1-0.

The Pirates moved in front 2-0 thanks to another forfeit at No. 6 singles, but East Carolina left little doubt by winning every matchup to seal the match victory. Joan Madi and Anne Lou Champion breezed through the competition on courts four and five as they both recorded 6-0, 6-0 triumphs.

ECU returns to action Saturday, Feb. 10, with a road contest at George Washington.
