
Pirates Finish 10th At Paradise Invitational

Boca Raton, Fla. – The East Carolina women's golf team concluded play at the Paradise Invitational on Tuesday afternoon as the Pirates finished 10th after posting a final score of 24-over par 888 as a team after 54 holes of play.
The two-day tournament was contested at the par-72, 6,204-yard Osprey Point Golf Club and was hosted by Florida Atlantic.
Nicole Nash shot even-par 72 on Tuesday to move up 14 spots on the leaderboard, leading the Pirates in the standings with a tie for 12th place. Nash shot 1-over par 217 over three rounds of play. Macie Burcham tallied a final scorecard of 5-over par 221 to tie for 26th and Ella Stalvey shot 8-over par 224 to round out ECU's top three finishers.
Danielle Modder tied for 60th (15-over par 231) and Andrea Miralles tied for 67th (18-over par 234).
South Florida claimed team honors after shooting 7-under par 857, finishing four strokes ahead of Denver (3-under par 861) and eight ahead of Vanderbilt (1-over par 865). Rutgers, Indiana and Wisconsin all shot 12-over par 876 to tie for fourth place.
