Dallas, Texas – The East Carolina men's basketball team concludes its two-game Texas road trip on Wednesday night when the Pirates visit Moody Coliseum to face SMU.

The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. ET tip and will be streamed via ESPN+ with Chris Mycoskie (play-by-play) and Brian Burton (analyst) on the call. Wednesday's game can also be heard on 107.9 WNCT and 94.3 The Game with Daron Vaught (play-by-play) and Michael Perry (analyst) handling broadcasting duties.

RJ Felton leads East Carolina with 16.6 points per game (6th in AAC) and has scored 10 or more points in 21 consecutive games while Brandon Johnson and Ezra Ausar round out the Pirates' top scorers with 13.8 and 11.4 points per game respectively. Johnson leads the team on the glass with 8.4 rebounds per contest which is third in the league and is fourth in the AAC in double-doubles this season with eight. Bobby Pettiford Jr. leads the Pirates with 3.4 assists per game and is first in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.16 (15th in NCAA).

SMU enters Wednesday on a three-game skid of their own after falling at home to UTSA 77-73 despite four Mustangs scoring in double figures, led by Zhuric Phelps' 18 points. SMU has been one of the toughest teams in the American at home with a 13-3 record. Zhuric Phelps leads SMU in scoring with 14.7 points per game (13th in AAC) and Chuck Harris adds 13.1 points. The Mustangs are a balanced team on both ends of the floor as they are currently the only team in the AAC that is top-five in scoring offense and scoring defense. SMU is also top-five in field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense and the Mustangs are number one in the conference in guarding the three at 30.6 percent.
