LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State won the doubles point and three singles bouts to edge East Carolina 4-3 at the Rhodes Tennis Center.

Ines Bachir, Kim Auerswald and Joan Madi all won their singles matches at courts one, two and six but Justine Dondonay edged Martin Muzzolon in the third set on court three to clinch the win for LBSU.

The Pirates are back in action March 15 when they host Elon at 2 p.m. inside the River Birch Tennis Center.
