
Pirates and Nash Earn Titles At Ironwood Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team earned team honors at the Ironwood Invitational on Tuesday afternoon after recording a final score of 21-over par 885 and freshman Nicole Nash earned medalist honors with a scorecard of 2-under par 214.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament was contested at the par-72, 6,371-yard Ironwood Golf and Country Club.
Nash became the first Pirate to finish first in a tournament since fellow teammate Oda Sofie Kilsti in 2021. Kilsti tied for fourth after shooting 3-over par 219. Macie Burcham tied for 17th (+10, par 226) and Danielle Modder tied for 22nd (+11, 227). Marta Perez rounded out the Pirates' team lineup with a final score of 15-over par 231 to tie for 41st.
Zoe Allaux was the Pirates' top finisher as an individual with 13th place tie, followed by Ella Stalvey (t-35th), Andrea Miralles (t-46th) and Grayson Warren (75th).
Delaware (890) finished five strokes behind ECU for second place, followed by James Madison (896), UNC Greensboro (909) and Elon (910).
