GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina made quick work of Davidson Saturday afternoon, downing the Wildcats 4-0 at the River Birch Tennis Center.
The Pirates notched their 10th win of the season, surpassing last year's total with one match to play before the American Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Championship.
ECU wasted little time clinching the doubles point as Alisha Hussain and Ines Bachir picked up a 6-3 victory on court one while Martina Muzzolon and Kexuan Zhou registered a 6-0 win on court three. In singles play, Muzzolon, Anne Lou Champion and Zhou all emerged as winners to close Davidson out for good.
Up Next: East Carolina closes out the regular season April 13th with a home match versus Norfolk State at 1 p.m.
