"We are proud of what we accomplished for the 2023-24 academic year," said Director of Track & Field Curt Kraft. "We improved on conference finishes;Â we set numerous school records in cross country, indoor and outdoor track; we had individual conference, champions, regional, qualifiers, and last, but not least, Sydni McMillan qualified for the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. As a coaching staff, you are never entirely satisfied with the accomplishments during the academic year, we are working hard as a staff to continue to get better across the board. We compete in a very competitive league and that brings out the best in all of us. We had a great recruiting year on both the men and women sides. We are excited to see our returners improve and to see how our freshman can be impactful to the program in their first year. I feel like we have a solid foundation with a great team culture on both men and women's teams. The leadership of the team and coaching staff will continue to build a program that we can all be proud of."
