
Pirates Announce 2024-25 Women's Golf Schedule

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team will host two events as part of its 10-tournament slate as the program has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday.

The Pirates will tee off their five-tournament fall slate at the Cardinal Cup in Louisville, Ky. (Sept. 13-15) before competing in the Tot Hill Farm Invitational in Asheboro (Sept. 23-24). East Carolina will return home to host its fall tournament in the Pirate Collegiate Classic (Sept. 30-Oct. 1) at the Greenville Country Club and will close out the fall at the Ruth Chris' Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 11-13) and Mercedes Benz Invitational (Oct. 20-22).

"I'm really pleased with the competitive schedule we have this year," director of golf Kevin Williams said. "The overall strength of the teams competing on our schedule is higher than last year. It's going to be a huge challenge for our team but look forward to seeing how we respond."

The spring slate consists of five tournaments including the Pirates' annual spring home tournament at Ironwood Golf and Country Club, the Ironwood Invitational, to conclude their regular season on Mar. 31-Apr. 1. ECU will compete in two events in February beginning with the FAU Paradise Invitational (Feb. 3-4) followed by the Lake Oconee Invitational (Feb. 21-23). Â The Pirates will travel to Spring Island, S.C. for the Briar's Creek Invitational (Mar. 10-11) before competing in the Wolfpack Invitational (Mar. 21-22) ahead of their final regular season tournament at Ironwood.

The American Athletic Conference Championship will be held in Brooksville, Fla. for the third consecutive season at the Southern Hills Golf Club (Apr. 14-16).

The 2025 NCAA Regionals will be played six different sites around the country May 5-7 and the 2025 NCAA Championship will be contested in Carlsbad, Calif. at the Champions Course at Omni La Costa Resort May 16-21.
