GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina Men's Basketball has announced the signing of guard/forward Dreylan Creasy-Quirindoongo to the Pirates' roster for the 2026-27 season on Monday.
The Palmyra, Va. native comes off a strong junior season at Blue Ridge High School where he averaged 17.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game to help guide Blue Ridge to a 28-5 overall record. Creasy-Quirindoongo shot 38 percent from distance and finished with a 75 percent mark at the free throw line.
"Let me first say we are very excited to add Dreylan to our program," head coach Michael Schwartz said. "He is a high character young man who fits both the Pirate culture and our style of play. He comes to us from a strong program at Blue Ridge High School, playing for the well-respected Cade Lemcke. He also competed at the highest level, as one of the top shooters on the EYBL Circuit with Boo Williams AAU program. He's a dynamic 6'7 athletic, skilled wing, who can score on all three levels. He's clearly influenced and supported by his outstanding parents, Deidra and Francisco Quirindoongo. We're looking forward to his arrival to campus."
Creasy-Quirindoongo is rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports and is ranked as the 124th-best player nationally, 40th-best small forward and seventh-best player in Virginia. He also competed for Boo Williams on the AAU Circuit and was named Third Team All-Circuit at Nike EYBL Phoenix where he averaged 17 points, three rebounds and 1.7 assists for Boo Williams.
