BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The East Carolina women's tennis team put together a solid performance Friday afternoon, knocking off Campbell 6-1 inside the Nesbit Tennis Center.

The Pirates secured the doubles point with victories by Ines Bachir and Xenia Jeromin on court one and Anne Lou Champion and Martina Muzzolon on court three.

ECU breezed through singles play as well as Bachir, Jeromin, Muzzolon, Champion and Joan Madi all won in straight sets. The Camels mustered up their lone point of the day on court three via a three-set win by Ofer Kivity.

Up Next: The Pirates return to action Sunday afternoon with a road match at Davidson.
