
Modder Named AAC Women's Golf Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas – East Carolina junior Danielle Modder has been named the American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week according to an announcement by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Modder is coming off her first collegiate victory at the City of Oaks Collegiate this past weekend, shooting two-over par 218, to help lead the Pirates to a team victory as ECU won the event by 17 strokes. The junior tied a season-best in the second round, carding a three-under par 69 to jump to the top of the leaderboard.
Modder and the Pirates will return to the links on Monday when ECU hosts the Ironwood Invitational at Ironwood Golf and Country Club.
