Pirates Sit At Third Following Second Round Of AAC Championship

Brooksville, Fla. – The East Carolina women's golf team sits in third place after concluding second round play at the American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday.
The championship is being contested at the par-72, 6,289-yard Southern Hills Plantation Golf Club.
The Pirates slipped to third after shooting 13-over par 301 in the second round, allowing Charlotte to move up to second with a three-stroke lead over ECU heading into tomorrow's final round. Tulsa maintained its grip on first with a 15-stroke lead over Charlotte at seven-under par 569.
Zoe Allaux (t-12th), Danielle Modder (t-16th) and Ella Stalvey (t-20th) currently sit in the top 20 on the leaderboard while Nicole Nash (t-24th) and Andrea Miralles (t-37th) round out the Pirates' five.
ECU will tee off at 8:50 a.m. for the final round tomorrow and the final round will be streamed on ESPN+ with the broadcast beginning at 11:30 a.m.
