
Pirate Duo Earns Hampshire Honor Society Membership

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Dustyn Hall and Luke Larsen have earned membership into the 2025 National Football Foundation Honor Society according to a release from the NFF and College Hall of Fame.

Hall and Larsen were among 2,532 players nationally to earn the honor, which has been awarded annually since 2006 for outstanding academic achievement. The duo joins Robert Lee (2006), Kevin Roach (2006), Warren Harvey (2015), Zay Jones (2017), Phillip Nelson (2017), Worth Gregory (2017), Austin Teague (2018), Thomas Sirk (2018), Alex Turner (2020), Blake Proehl (2021), Jake Verity (2021), Fernando Frye (2022), Tyler Snead (2022), Jonn Young (2022), Aaron Jarman (2023), Jeremy Lewis (2023-24), Jireh Wilson (2023), Hampton Ergle (2024), Alex Flinn (2024) and Larsen (2024-25) as members of the honor society. Larsen joins Lewis as the only Pirates to become two-time honorees.

Hall, who graduated with a degree in criminology from South Florida (fall of 2022), is currently pursuing a masters in criminal justice. He was named to the 2020 USF Athletics Spring Honor Roll and is a three-time AAC All-Academic Team selection (2019-21). Larsen earned his undergraduate degree from ECU in industrial distribution (spring 2023) and enrolled in ECU's MBA program in the fall of 2023. He is a six-time ECU Director of Athletics Honor Roll member (fall 2021-present) and a four-time AAC All-Academic Team selection (2020-23).
