
Hamblin Named To CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina senior swimmer Kaylee Hamblin has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team the organization announced Monday afternoon.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Hamblin, who recently completed her collegiate career, had a pair of A-Final appearances in the 50 and 100 breaststrokes and earned a spot in the B-Finals of the 200 breaststroke at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships in Ocala, Fla.

The Waxhaw, N.C. native closed her career as a two-time Olympic Trial qualifier, three-time NCAA B qualifier, three-time All-American Athletic Conference performer, set two ECU records, collected 43 wins, earned 46 Top 3 performances, scored 400 regular season and 100 AAC Championship points during just two seasons with the program.

In the classroom, Hamblin boasts a 3.84 cumulative grade point average in public health and is set to graduate in the Spring of 2025.
