
Revel Jr. Selected By Dallas Cowboys In Third Round

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Former East Carolina University cornerback and 2023 Second-Team All-American Athletic Conference selection Shavon Revel Jr. was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys with the 12th pick in the third round (76 overall) of the 2025 National Football League Draft Friday night.

With his selection, Revel becomes the ninth member of a Pirate secondary unit to be drafted and follows Emmanuel McDaniel, who was taken by the Carolina Panthers in the fourth round (111th overall) in the 1996 draft. He is also the 26th defensive player picked and first since defensive tackle Linval Joseph (46th overall) by the New York Giants.
