
Women’s Tennis Trio Earns CSC Academic All-District® Team Accolades

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Anne Lou Champion, Joan Madi and Martina Muzzolon have garnered 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team honors according to an announcement by the organization this week.
Student-athletes earn the distinction by compiling a 3.50-or-greater GPA in the classroom and playing in 70 percent of the team's scored dual matches.
Champion graduated from East Carolina last week with a degree in management and compiled a 3.94 grade point average, winning The Depalo Highest GPA Award at the recent Goldspys ceremony. She also helped the squad capture the Team Pirate Service Award.
Through three academic years, Madi owns a 3.84 GPA as an art major while Muzzolon earned her degree in accounting with a 3.92 GPA.
