ECU In First Place At Ironwood Collegiate Classic After First Round

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina men's golf team posted a 12-under par 276 and currently sits in first place at the Ironwood Collegiate Golf Classic following opening round action. The two-day, 54-hole event is being held at the Ironwood Golf and Country Club (par-72, 7,102 yards). All 15 teams will complete the tournament on Monday with 36 holes.

Freshman Josh Davies is in second place with 36 holes remaining after posting an opening round of 67 (5-under), while sophomore Luke Mosley is tied for third one stroke behind Davies at 4-under following his round of 68. Junior Adam Lennermark is tied for sixth place (3-under, 69), alongside of senior Davis DeLille and senior Philip Linberg Bondestad.

Sophomore Holden Rucker is tied for 10th with his 2-under par 70 and junior Nathan O'Neal is 3-over with a 75 tying for 51st place. Junior Drew O'Neal and freshman Oscar Crowe is tied for 57th after rounds of 76 (4-over).

Georgia State and Longwood are tied for second at 5-under (283), while UCF (4-under/284) and Jacksonville State (3-under/285) round out the top five.
