Rembert Earns Player of the Week Accolades

IRVING, Texas - East Carolina women's basketball's Keanna Rembert has earned American Conference Player of the Week accolades, the league announced Monday.
Rembert earns her honor after a week which saw the senior average 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.Â
The forward started her week with a career-high 27 points in the Pirates' overtime win against UAB. Rembert also grabbed 11 rebounds in the game for her first double-double of the season. She capped the game game by banking in the game-winning three with 2.5 seconds left, ECU's first game-winning basket in the final five seconds since 2022.
Rembert followed that game up with 16 points and six rebounds in a win over Memphis. She went 10-10 from the foul line in the contest, including a stretch of six-straight made free throws in a seven second stretch to give the Pirates their decisive lead in the fourth quarter.
The weekly honor is the first Player of the Week recognition for East Carolina this season. The Pirates have garnered Weekly Honorable Mention nods six times so far in 2025-26.
