
Prager Named The American Conference Video Coordinator Of The Year

AUSTIN, Texas – The Collegiate Sports Video Association named Austen Prager, Director of Football Video Operations for East Carolina University, the 2025-2026 American Athletic Conference Video Coordinator of the Year.Â

Prager was selected by his peers in the AAC to receive the Conference Video Coordinator of the Year honor.  He is now a finalist for the prestigious Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year award, which will be announced at the annual CSVA banquet on May 20th, 2026 in Denver, Colorado.

The Bob Matey award is presented to the Video Coordinator who displays innovation, determination, perseverance and technical skill as portrayed by the late Bob Matey, legendary Video Coordinator from Texas A&M.

Austen Prager is in his third season working as the Director of Football Video Operations at East Carolina University, a position he started in 2022.
Â
In his current role, Prager handles all film and technology for the football office while also managing coaches' film, scouting of opposing teams, analyzing film breakdown and manages film exchange software.

A 10-year veteran in the video production field, Prager began his career working at South Florida where he worked on staff as the assistant video coordinator. He has also previously worked for the National Football League and National Hockey League capturing live content.

Prager, who is a member of the Collegiate Sports Video Association since 2021, graduated from USF in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in mass communication and a focus on TV production. He and his wife Kaleigh live in Greenville, N.C.Â
