ECU Moves Into First At Ironwood Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team made its move Monday shooting a 7-over par 295 moving into first place with a score of 595. The three-day, 54-hole event is being played at the Ironwood Golf Country Club (par-72, 6,491 yards).
Junior Nicole Nash is tied for second after 36 holes following her 2-under par 70 and is even in the event with a 144. Senior Lisa Forss is tied for ninth (148) after posting a score of 75 (3-over), while fellow classmate Danielle Modder is tied for 28th at 153 (9-over). Rounding out the Pirates roster are graduate senior Marta Perez (154/10-over) and junior Ella Stalvey (154/10-over) who are both tied for 33rd.
Playing as individuals are Isabella Taylor-Stokes who is in fifth (146) after carding a 4-over par 76. Freshman Karsyn Roberts is tied for 25th (152) and fellow freshman Madison Rizzo is tied for 33rd (154).
ECU holds a one-shot lead over Georgia State (596), while leading Xavier (601) by six strokes. College of Charleston (603) sits in fourth followed by Columbia (604).
Final round action begins Tuesday, April 7 with a 10 a.m. (ET) shotgun.
