
Nash Named American Golfer Of The Week

IRVING, Texas – East Carolina junior Nicole Nash has been named the American Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Thursday. For Nash, it's her second career honor following her selection on April 4, 2024.

Nash won her second career tournament at the 2026 Ironwood Invitational (Ironwood Golf & Country Club) posting a personal-best score of 211 (5-under) after shooting rounds of 74, 70 and 67. Her first career win happened nearly two years ago, also at the Ironwood Invitational, during her freshman season.

The Charlotte, N.C. native tallied 14 birdies, 31 pars and nine bogeys during the three-day event with seven birdies during final round action, which tied her second-lowest round of the season and her career. In a field of 89 players, Nash stood first or tied for first in total birdies (first/14), par 4 scoring (first/3.990) and par 5 scoring (t1st/4.75), while tying for sixth in par 3 scoring (3.08).

With her play, she also paced East Carolina to its second title of the season as the team carded a score of 877 (13-over par) with rounds of 300, 295 and 282 – the latter ranking as the second lowest of the season for ECU.

Nash and the Pirates will return to action on Monday, April 20 participating in The American Championships in Brooksville, Fla.
