ECU In Second At Pirate Collegiate Classic

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team is in second place (575/1-under) after 36 holes at the Pirate Collegiate Classic. The two day, 54-hole event is being played at Greenville Country Club (par 72, 5,944 yards). Competition concludes Tuesday with 18 holes with the Pirates teeing off at 9:15 a.m. from the first hole.

Nicole Nash leads the Pirates with a 4-under par score od 140 after posting rounds of 67 and 73 sitting four shots of the leader, Marie Madsen from NC State (136/8 under). Hannah Barrett is tied for eight at 141 (3-under) following rounds of 68 and 73. Hallie Wilson posted rounds of 70 and 75 for a 145 (1-over) and is tied fir 21st place.

Isabella Taylor-Stokes is four shots behind Wilson at 149 (5-over) carding rounds of 74 and 75, while Madison Rizzo is tied for 49th at 153 (9-over) shooting a 78 and 75 on Monday. Playing as individuals are Lisa Forss, who is tied for 37th at 150 (6-over, 78-72) followed by Louise Krawiec in a tie for 56th at 157 (13-over, 76-81) and Ella Stalvey in a tie for 66th at 159 (15-over, 80-79).

NC State sits atop the team leader board at 568 (8-under, 288-280) followed by East Carolina (279-296), UNC Greensboro at 578 (2-over, 291-287), App State at 579 (3-over, 289-290) and Longwood at 582 (9-over, 294-288) rounding out the top five.
